A week into the New Year

Well, I hope everyone is off to a positive start to the New Year!!! I know I have been!! :)

Not much going on this week...keeping busy though that's for sure. The kiddies are out of school today, so I am sure we will do something fun. I'm still kinda feeling the sledding thing!! hahaha I have not been able to get my pics posted from last week because I think I lost my USB cord to my camera...ERRR!!! Maybe that's a good enough reason to get a new one?!!? ;) Can I get a witness PLEASE!!! lol So, I will get them up ASAP.

I've been learning a LOT the past couple of weeks about faith, believing and not giving up on the things YOU believe in. Then I read this quote in my new calendar and it sort of fits here. So, here is your weekly inspiration:

"The thing always happens that you really believe in; and the belief in a thing makes it happen." - Frank Lloyd Wright

No matter what type of times you happen to be going through, it is ALWAYS for a reason. However, THIS seems to be the hardest part to keep in perspective while you are going through it!!! This applies to the good, bad, and indifferent times. You should be learning from each and every experience and growing as a person. If you are not, then you are just going to keep repeating cycles of stupidity and NOW is the time to ADJUST YOUR attitude and mind set.

BELIEVE in God and yourself first and everything else will follow suit!!!

Enjoy the weekend.

WELCOME TO 2010

WOW...2010 is already here!!!! I cant believe how quickly time flies by! I hope everyone had a chance to relax and spend time with their families and friends over this holiday season and is looking forward to making 2010 a bigger and better year. I know I sure am!!! :)

I know I had a blast with the kids and my family. We had a big family get together at my sisters house and ALL the kiddies were there and did a gift exchange for Christmas...how fun! :) The plan for New Years was to ring in the new year with the kids and my sister Bobbi and her family and instead we all went out to eat and then fell asleep on the couch later. I woke up just in time to ring in the NEW YEAR with my son and then we stayed up and hung out for awhile. Man...I'm gettin old!!hahahaha JUST KIDDIN!!!

I spent most of the day with the kids today and we had SO much fun. (I will post holiday pics later..they are classic!) We went sledding and OMG how much fun!!!!!! :) I swear I have not had that much fun in a LONG time. I am ready for it to snow again now (and I cant stand the snow). lol I just want to go sledding again. We all had a blast.

I hope everyone else got a chance to enjoy their families as much as I did!

I personally have not made any resolutions yet, but will be sitting down and doing that today. I believe it is important to not just make resolutions at the beginning of the year, but to stick to them and adjust as needed through the year. I CHALLENGE everyone to make resolutions this year and to stick with them. Pick 3 or 4 things that you REALLY want and need to change in your life and GO FOR IT!!!! :)

So, with that being said Inspirational #1 for this year:

"If you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it; you can become it." - William Arthur Ward

Put down in writing your resolutions for 2010 and paint a visual picture in your head or get a vision board and put it together in real life for yourself. I REALLY like Jack Canfield's Visions Board you can find here at http://www.dreambigcollection.com/. Do everything you can and work your ass off to reach those goals. MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

I believe that the only thing that prevents us from not reaching our OWN goals is ourselves! We provide excuses, we get scared of failure, we don't work as hard as we can, and we aren't realistic sometimes. Stop making excuses and start making a plan!!! This is my CHALLENGE to you in this new year.

I wish everyone the best of success in 2010 and that you each live your life to the fullest. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW YEAR

Hi everyone!!

I know its been WAAAAYYYY too long since I updated. :( This year has been a whirlwind for me (to say the least) and I have really just been trying to keep on top of things on the priority list (family and health)!!! ;)

SO, with that being said, I will be back with weekly updates starting next week for the New Year. I am REALLY excited to see what 2010 will bring and I am praying for the BEST.

I hope to be able to share some positive and uplifting messages to everyone in the upcoming year through my weekly inspirations that I use to do exclusively via email and will now do thru the blog each week. If you have any requests on topics, please email me tonyafit1@yahoo.com

I hope everyone has a great Christmas/Holiday season and a VERY VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

THOUGHT/QUOTE OF THE WEEK

How could I forget this part of my post!! DUH!!! :-)

Quote of the week:

I will go anywhere provided it be forward - Dr. David Livingstone

Something to think about is this...many times we can not move forward because we continually live in the past. The what if's, if only's, and I shoulda/coulda/woulda problem! STOP!!! NOTHING positive can come from this mind-set.

In order to go anywhere in life you must learn from your past...good, bad or indifferent. :-) You can't change the past!!!!! You can ONLY understand it, learn from it, and use it to look to the future by turning the experience into something positive. We all have things in our past that we wish were different, but the fact is that it is not. So, be happy and live for today as if you were "doing it all over"!! Don't dwell on ANYTHING and use EVERYTHING to fuel your fire!!

NOW...have an AWESOME week!! :-)

PRETTY BORING

Hey there everyone!

Well, not much going on in my world..its been PRETTY BORING!!! :-) Which I am not sure if that is a good thing for me right now or a bad thing!! hahaa

Since last week, the only new changes are that the kids are out of school for the summer and we are trying to plan things to do!! YEAH!!! :-) Hopefully, I will have some new, fun pics to post soon. I hope that the weather will be somewhat decent so we can go swimming (or THEY can go...I CANT swim!! lol) or something like that this week.

A LONG WEEK

Hey there everyone!

This past week and weekend was crazy! I was still recovering from some dental work and that was NOT fun!!! I am learning so much about myself in this VERY trying time, but I know that there is a bigger plan working here so I am going about my journey!! :-)

This weekend was LONG, as I OFFICIALLY became certified to do CPR/First Aid and AED!!! WHOOO HOOO!!! It about time right! lol It was a very fun class (just extremely long and tiring)but I am considering teaching the training courses for certification?!?! We shall see!

I have some pics here from Milani's art show last week and from this past weekend w/the kids. They are adorable I must say!!! LOL
Have a fun day everyone!! Keep checking back for updates etc.

I'M BACK

Hey there everyone!!!

I am REALLY sorry for not posting as usual...its been a WHIRLWIND the past couple of weeks. (to say the least!! lol) I really appreciate everyone for hanging in there with me! :-)

So, to catch everyone up a little bit...I will probably be changing my title to something else, as I am deciding to put off the July All Women's Weekend show. However, I will still be going to the show, just not as a competitor! :-( I cant wait to see everyone there.

The reason I have decided to put the show off is that I have had a couple of serious medical issues that need my immediate attention and I am focusing on those issues right now. I REALLY REALLY appreciate everyone who has been here for me the last couple of weeks for me..it means MORE to me than I can express!! Thanks to you for your support, prayers, advice, etc etc. I am at a calm spot and am just looking forward to doing what I have to do and to keep it moving!! :-)

I also would love to thank all the campers at Phat Camp Cleveland 2 weeks ago!! You guys ROCKED!!!! That camp was very special to me...I met a TON of wonderful women as usual, got the opportunity to speak and share a very important message about attitude and I also took away strength for myself during a really tough time. THANK YOU CAMPERS SOOOOOO much!!!! Love you guys!! :-)

I think that is about it for me. LOL I am down for a little bit but DEFINITELY not out!!! I am re-focusing and staying positive about whatever God has in store for me! :-) I do plan to compete this fall and I will still keep everyone updated on my progress in my current status...I still have a way to go to reach my goal, so I just look at it as extra prep time!! ;-)

As for the little ones...WOW...they grow WAAAY to fast!!! I cant believe my baby boy is getting ready to go into the 4th GRADE!! And my daughter is getting ready to be promoted to a "real" pre-school room at her daycare. I am SOOOO SUPER proud to be their mama!! :-) Both my son and daughter have had an awesome year at school this year!!! Today I actually went to help out at Field Day for Armani and tonight I have Milani's art show at pre-school. What a fun blessing to be a mother!!! :-)

Well everyone...enjoy the day and keep checking back. I am sure I will have a lot of things to post about soon!

In closing, keep this great quote in mind!! It will help you keep your attitude in check!

"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do."
- Eleanor Roosevelt
